A short note to say that Software Architecture for Developers is coming back to Oslo and London in May. What's it about? Well, in a nutshell, it's about the software architecture role, regardless of whether that role is undertaken by a single person or shared amongst everybody on a self-organising agile team.
Designing software given a vague set of requirements and a blank sheet of paper is a good skill to have, although not many people get to do this on a daily basis. Software Architecture for Developers is a two-day training course about "just enough" software architecture where you'll enjoy a mix of listening, discussing and practicing software architecture. Here's an example of how we practice.
Places for Oslo and London can be booked through Bouvet and Skills Matter respectively. Private courses are also available and can be run at your office (please e-mail me for more details).
